About

Our story

Since June 2026

A Greek house on a Flemish square.

On 30 June 2026 the doors opened on Heldenplein. No backdrop of columns or postcard blue, but a house like the ones you find on the islands: limewashed walls, woven light, a table too small for everything that lands on it.

MÉDUSA grew from Greek roots and Belgian curiosity. The kitchen leans on charcoal, olive oil and the season; the bar on ouzo, mastiha and good conversation. What remains is simple: filoxenia — the hospitality you only recognise when it is missing.

Concept version — the final story will follow.

What we stand for

Three convictions

Dining room with Medusa relief on a blue wall and rattan lamps
  1. 01

    Filoxenia

Literally: love of the stranger. For us: everyone who walks in is treated as someone who will come back.

  2. 02

    Charcoal & season

We grill over real charcoal and cook with what exists right now. That is why the menu changes, and why it tastes the way it does.

  3. 03

    The art of sharing

Ouzeries are not starters. They are the reason a table turns into a conversation.
